NoKyc.com reveals results from a new survey

Artificial Intelligence has become the latest buzzword in the business world as companies worldwide look to implement AI in their processes. However, the implementation of AI has its own challenges, and according to the latest survey, proving the value of AI solutions to businesses might be the biggest one. According to the data presented here by NoKyc.com, 42% of IT professionals think this is the leading challenge in AI implementation. 

Lack Of Tech Infrastructure Next Big Challenge At 38%

A recent Coleman Parkes survey asked 1420 IT professionals about the three leading challenges they face in implementing AI initiatives in businesses. As per the results of the survey published on Statista.com, 42% of the respondents claimed that proving the usefulness or value of Artificial Intelligence solutions to businesses is the biggest challenge they face while AI implementation.

A lack of technological infrastructure to support Artificial Intelligence is also seen as a major hurdle by IT professionals. In the survey, 38% of respondents picked a lack of tech infrastructure as an option. Storage of skilled AI talent was the next biggest hurdle, with 32% of IT professionals who took the survey opting for it.

The lack of clean data in the related field was flagged as another concern in the survey, with 24% of survey respondents picking it as an option. The general lack of trust towards AI-based decisions is also a significant hurdle, with 22% of votes followed by Algorithm/model failure at 19%. The inability to find the right data was also a concern for 17% of respondents.

Some IT professionals, 14%, also expressed concerns about legal or compliance issues. ‘Lack of skills to exploit the results’ was picked as a hurdle by 11% and ‘lack of clarity on success metrics’ by 9%. ‘Lack of new use cases across the business’ was the next popular option in the survey, with 7% of votes.

On the opposite spectrum, very few IT professionals had to complain about a lack of funding or commitment from senior management. Only 5% cited lack of funding as a hurdle, and just 4% complained about the lack of commitment from senior management.
